My name is Martina Nevado. I'm the founder of Tina & Kids' Creations (TKC101). From a young age, I knew that I wanted to teach art and I was constantly designing and creating. when I came to the USA, I got my CDA and I worked for 15 years with preschool students. I am a writer and an artist. I obtained my associate degree in fine arts in 2019. I also have studies in baking and pastry and fashion design. Nine years ago, together with my family, we started cooking and sewing workshops for the children of our community. These classes become a must have for families who enjoy an hour of instruction and creativity. Since the first workshop that we started, attendance has been massive. Tina and Kids' Creations (TKC101) is a School of Design and Gastronomy that makes a difference.
Today we add more art workshops, we also expand to other facilities and have educational videos online. |
Thanks to all the parents that showed their interest in this project and support their children to attend the workshops. We keep empowering more kids encouraging them to be productive. thank you to my family for all the support. We are not perfect but we have a heart big enough to give everything we can to help our community. Of course, we've been through good and bad times, moments of suffering made us stronger, and we are thankful for the good.
I always thought that we have one life, and we cannot waste it because we are in this world for just a moment. If you do good, you get good. living in this country we have all the opportunities to be what we decided to be.
